POSITION OVERVIEW:


This role presents an excellent opportunity to showcase and enhance your sales expertise, customer engagement skills, and relationship management capabilities.

Mastery in these areas will be essential for advancement into more complex sales positions within USG in the future.


Location and Additional Information:


The candidate will reside in or around a major metropolitan area. Responsibilities will cover multiple states.

Flexibility regarding location will be determined by the hiring manager.
Relocation support may be available at the discretion of the hiring manager.
Bilingual candidates are preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following and may perform additional tasks as assigned.

  • Establish and nurture strong business relationships with management, contractor sales teams, and retail associates within the designated market.
  • Boost sales by facilitating training sessions with store associates/service teams on USG products, enhancing brand recognition, product knowledge, and loyalty.
  • Optimize product availability by utilizing sales analytics and instructing store associates on inventory management and ordering procedures.
  • Enhance sales potential and brand loyalty through engaging in-store product demonstrations aimed at end users.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to actively promote USG products in retail environments.
  • Continuously seek innovative strategies to promote USG products in alignment with organizational objectives.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:


Education: A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel may be necessary to service the assigned market and region. Regular travel to the designated market territory is expected.

A valid driver's license is required.

  • Confident public speaking skills to deliver product training.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks to maximize account development for both existing and new clients.

  • Attention to detail that drives sales performance.
  • Professional demeanor at all times.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to relocate for future promotional opportunities.

Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with construction products and processes is advantageous. Ability to effectively manage a territory with diverse exposure and experience is preferred.
