Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Freudenberg Medical LLC. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visual, mechanical, and optical inspections of products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Verify that incoming raw materials meet quality requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure that all materials and components conform to certifications and specifications.
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming materials for further review and disposition.
  • Generate Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) and assign owners.
  • Participate in Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) studies.
  • Perform materials testing as required by acceptance activities and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of inspections and testing.
  • Independently handle problems and issues within the area of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and scheduling methods.
  • Interact effectively with colleagues and other departments within the company.
  • Release products to the next location upon completion within the SAP system.
Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in product quality inspection or a related field.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with computer literacy skills (SAP skills a plus).
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to assist and support colleagues.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fractions).
  • Ability to read and understand procedures and operating manuals.
  • Able to use basic hand tools (screwdriver, wrenches, etc.).
  • Ability to work in excess of a 40-hour week if necessary.
