Position Summary:
- This role involves a contract position where you will collaborate with a prominent aerospace client at their supplier location. You will be an integral part of a global inspection team dedicated to maintaining the quality of components and assemblies sourced from various suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of composite parts and components. Conduct in-process and final source inspections of mechanical components. Interpret and analyze standard manufacturing drawings in accordance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of practical inspection experience with precision machined parts, including proficiency with various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges.
- Experience in inspecting composite materials is essential.
- Knowledge of GD&T is required.
- Mechanical inspectors at this level should be capable of validating dimensions with minimal GD&T validation using standard hand tools.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
