Customer Support Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Manager to join our team at Select Water Solutions. As a liaison between our customers and our company, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships and ensuring that our customers' needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and communicate with customers on a daily basis to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager and Corporate Account Representatives to discuss customer needs and implement solutions.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure that personnel and equipment needs are met for each customer, and that these needs are adjusted as they change.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying new opportunities and growing our business.
  • Complete all required reports in a timely manner, and maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities.
  • Participate in and complete company-required training programs, and contribute to Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives.
  • Prospect new customers and industries, educating them on our services and building relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 10 years of relevant work experience in lieu of formal education.
  • 5-10 years of experience in customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of relationship management and account development.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to influence customer decision-makers.
  • Prior experience coordinating and determining a focused sales strategy, and frequent personal contact with key client personnel.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive a company vehicle, according to Select's insurance guidelines.
  • Comfortable with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a cohesive team.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our compensation package is competitive and commensurate with experience. We offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as life and disability insurance plans. Paid vacation days and holidays, retirement and savings plans, and an annual uniform allowance are also included.

Physical Demands:

This role involves traditional Monday-through-Friday hours, with occasional travel and extended periods of sitting. You will be exposed to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection, and will need to maintain a high degree of concentration in a busy area. You will be required to lift up to 25 pounds individually.
