Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the retail team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in maintaining company policies and operational processes. This role plays a critical part in driving daily sales and profit results, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring store standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Merchandising and Sales: Review the sales floor daily for merchandising opportunities and motivate staff to meet or exceed sales goals.
  2. Operational Excellence: Ensure all company policies and processes are executed at a high level, including cash handling processes and bank deposits.
  3. Talent Acquisition and Development: Actively recruit, interview, and hire exceptional talent, and develop each store employee to be effective in their current role.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all safety requirements are validated and audits completed on time.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Two years of experience in Retail Assistant Store Management or three years of related management experience.
  2. Education: High-school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Skills: Proficient with various computer systems/software, such as Point of Sale, OUTLOOK, EXCEL, and WORD.
