Position Title: Student Services Coordinator, Food Assistance Program

Special Instructions to Applicants:
New hires will begin at the initial salary step of $56,424 annually, with potential increases based on experience, reaching up to $68,724 per year. Salary adjustments occur annually on July 1st.

Work Schedule:
Tuesday: 9am-2pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 9am-5pm

Job Responsibilities:
As a Student Services Coordinator, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support for student services programs.
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and statistical data; managing phone communications.
  • Compiling data for reports and ensuring compliance with program requirements.
  • Reviewing applications and program documents for eligibility.
  • Distributing support services such as vouchers and grants.
  • Assisting in the organization of training programs for faculty and staff.
  • Guiding students through college processes and connecting them with resources.
  • Preparing presentations and resource materials regarding available services.
  • Coordinating workshops and activities to promote student support services.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to student interactions and services provided.
  • Participating in outreach efforts to engage with diverse community groups.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of two years in an administrative role within a related field.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with additional coursework relevant to the position.

Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of policies related to student services, modern office practices, and effective communication skills are essential. Familiarity with software applications for data management is preferred.
