Desired Candidate Attributes

We are looking for a dynamic, empathetic, and flexible Nurse Practitioner who is enthusiastic about contributing to a Pediatric clinic environment. The ideal candidate should excel in a fast-paced, evolving workplace.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary healthcare provider in patient treatment strategies in collaboration with the Supervising Physician
  • Manage outpatient caseload with assistance from clinical personnel
  • Document and report patient vitals and treatment responses
  • Conduct allergy assessments following FAI protocols
  • Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Address patient reactions in accordance with FAI guidelines and coordinate with medical staff as necessary
  • Perform various tasks utilizing independent judgment and expertise
  • Participate in call rotation to respond to patient inquiries
  • Accurately record food challenge results in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Understand and support the complete patient care process
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and leadership
  • Efficiently manage care coordination duties
  • Maintain accurate documentation of challenges in patient records

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Pediatric populations
  • Previous clinical experience in Allergy, Pediatrics, or Emergency Room settings
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner Certification in California
  • Active national certification from recognized organizations
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
  • Proficiency in procedural tasks and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Team-oriented approach with a positive work attitude
