Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-time Assistant Professor to join our Clinical Psychology Program at National University System. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, training, and supervising doctoral-level students in the field of Clinical Psychology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses within the Clinical Psychology Program, including lectures, discussions, and clinical practicum sessions.
  • Supervise doctoral-level trainees conducting psychological assessments and interventions in the Psychological Assessment Clinic.
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student learning outcomes.
  • Provide timely and quality feedback to students and trainees.
  • Contribute to the development of the Clinical Psychology Program, including curriculum design, program evaluation, and accreditation efforts.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid, active Psychologist license in the state of California.
  • Demonstrated ability in teaching at the graduate level and supervising graduate-level trainees.
  • Sensitivity in working with ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse student and patient populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching and supervising in a clinical psychology program.
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the development of the Clinical Psychology Program.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, with a variable schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work on campus and participate in remote supervisory team meetings.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $28.89 per hour, with opportunities for professional development and growth within the National University System.
