Patient Access Representative 3

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative 3 to join our team at the University of Miami. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in patient access and registration, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify patient demographic and financial information to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Collaborate with scheduling departments to identify and register patients for upcoming appointments.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals.
- Collect and process patient payments and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in patient access or a related field.
- Front desk dental experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
