Position Overview
Leidos is seeking a Project Manager to oversee operations within the National Military Command Center.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing project planning, resource allocation, and team oversight.
- Ensuring project deliverables align with technical quality, reliability, schedule, and budgetary constraints.
- Monitoring project performance and suggesting necessary adjustments to timelines, costs, or resources.
- Addressing both technical and non-technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle, with a focus on resolving issues during the design and planning stages.
- Coordinating work conducted by external contractors and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Participating in budget formulation and assessing the impact of project modifications on costs and timelines.
- Creating Gantt charts to illustrate project schedules and milestones.
Essential Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with less than 6 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may substitute for formal education.
- An understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity principles.
- Experience in Project Management or Project Coordination.
- Proficiency in using Remedy and Microsoft Project.
- A current DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- PMP Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following will be given preference:
- Security+ certification.
- Extensive experience in Command Center operations.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $87,000 to $157,450. This range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation.
