The primary objective is to guarantee a fully synchronized, secure, and mission-ready NMCC, enabling effective execution of NMCS Mission Essential Functions/Mission Essential Tasks (MEFs/METs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Leadership and Representation:** Serve as a leader and primary representative for Communications Watch Officer (CWO) issues, acting as the solutions expert for intricate challenges.
  • **Systems Analysis and Planning:** Engage in technical planning, system integration, and thorough analyses across all levels of total system products.
  • **Team Management and Collaboration:** Oversee CWO Job Qualification Standards (JQS) and manage certification training, ensuring optimal team performance.
  • **Technical Systems Engineering Support:** Provide high-level technical systems engineering assistance through various initiatives.
  • **Problem Management and Resolution:** Take initiative in addressing core issues on NMCS for effective problem resolution.
  • **Advanced Technical Solutions:** Propose advanced technical solutions for operational programs.
  • **Project Leadership:** Direct medium to large complex projects, ensuring delivery aligns with customer expectations.
  • **Sound Independent Judgment:** Apply sound judgment in developing methods and techniques for achieving results.
  • **Goal Setting and Client Direction:** Set goals and plans that align with project objectives, offering direction to clients.
  • **Compliance and Responsibilities:** Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols, following worksite access regulations.
Additional Information
  • Position requires 100% on-site presence.
  • Role involves leadership in a day-shift capacity.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of general technical experience supporting NMCC systems engineering/analysis in military settings, AND
  • 5 years of experience in leading complex IT projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II) Certification CompTIA Security+CE.
  • Experience in supporting the NMCC (National Military Command Center).
