About the Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team at The Kidz Club. As a leading provider of pediatric therapy services, we offer a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of children, from infancy to young adulthood, with various medical complexities.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and feeding disorders in our pediatric population. They will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices, to address clients' communication and swallowing difficulties. Additionally, they will provide education and guidance to families and caregivers on strategies for carry-over therapy at home, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and feeding disorders in pediatric patients.
  2. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices, to address clients' specific needs.
  3. Provide direct therapy services, including play-based therapy, to promote effective communication and swallowing skills.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, adhering to ASHA and state licensing standards.
  6. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in the field.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program, a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, and state licensure from the Florida Department of Health. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency in standardized assessment tools, therapeutic interventions, and assistive technologies relevant to the field is also required.

Compensation and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $37 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.
