Job Description

This role involves conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to diagnose communication disorders. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client speech and language goals, providing direct therapy services to clients, including individuals, groups, and families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to diagnose communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client speech and language goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients, including individuals, groups, and families.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support client progress.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records and documentation related to client progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience in clinical settings, particularly with pediatric populations, is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
