Role Overview:
Our Finance Team is focused on partnering with business leadership to provide insights into performance metrics and develop both medium and long-term financial strategies for Amazon Cross Border.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate investment strategy discussions through insightful analysis.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to assess the financial implications of key decisions.
- Ensure the maximization of long-term free cash flow from investments.
- Develop financial forecasts for innovative growth initiatives.
- Work alongside various business and technology teams to become a subject matter expert on systems and outcomes.

A Day in the Life:
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to influence business leaders, support informed decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. You will engage with executives and various business units across Amazon.

Joining our high-performing, fast-paced Finance team means becoming a trusted strategic partner to the business, driving profitable growth and scalability through innovation. This role is highly visible within the finance team and requires strong leadership and effective communication skills.

Your contributions will directly influence our financial performance, enabling you to implement improvements that benefit our teams.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical discipline, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 8 years of experience in identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
- Proven track record of delivering accurate financial models and analysis that drive business impact.
- Proficiency in large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation.
