Strategic Solutions Advisor for Category Management

Position Overview
Blue Yonder is in search of a skilled Solutions Consultant who will take charge of the positioning and showcasing of innovative software and service solutions within a client setting. The perfect candidate will possess a strong desire to assist clients and a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain software solutions. In this role, you will provide essential pre-sales assistance to clients, facilitate product demonstrations, and address technical inquiries. This position will encompass the entire Category Management suite of Blue Yonder solutions and services at a strategic, functional, and operational level.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-sales assistance to clients, including solution demonstrations and presentations.
- Effectively align client business processes with optimal utilization of Blue Yonder Category Management solutions.
- Address client inquiries and offer functional and technical support as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored client solutions.
- Keep abreast of new software features and functionalities.
- Continuously enhance client support processes and protocols.
- Engage in the development of proposals and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Provide product and solution training to the sales team as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software sales or pre-sales capacity.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or a related sector.
- Familiarity with Category Management business processes and solutions.
- Strong grasp of supply chain software solutions.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Dynamic, engaging, and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, multitasking skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience with ticketing systems and CRM software is advantageous.
The Base Salary Range for this position is $90,000.00 to $115,000.00.
