Role: Technology Support Staff

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a robust understanding of computer systems, technology, and networking. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Experience with Windows operating systems, various applications, productivity software, online tools, antivirus solutions, and email management is required. A solid grasp of network functionality and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and take ownership of assigned projects efficiently. A commitment to staying updated with evolving technology is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, troubleshoot, and repair all computing devices and peripherals.
- Install new hardware and software systems.
- Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on technology equipment.
- Oversee the upkeep of computer labs and technology resources in classrooms and offices.
- Execute additional tasks and special projects as directed by the System Administrator and Operations Leader.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS:
WORK YEAR: Full-time during the academic year
BENEFITS: As per agreements with the Secretary Union of Leominster Public Schools
COMPENSATION: $20.14 per hour
Physical Requirements:
This role typically requires light to moderate physical effort in an office setting. The position necessitates the ability to operate a computer keyboard and standard office equipment efficiently for extended periods. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs without restrictions.
