Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer II to become a vital member of our Site Capacity team. This role is essential for guaranteeing that innovative processes and equipment adhere to both local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with project teams on a local and global scale to ensure that process designs meet all regulatory standards.
  • Formulate interface agreements and synchronize requirements with equipment suppliers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to sustain and enhance process control systems in alignment with production schedules.
  • Manage financial plans for system upkeep and enhancements.
  • Uphold automation standards, specifications, and comprehensive maintenance strategies.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits and evaluations related to process control systems.
  • Mentor and educate colleagues and stakeholders on best practices in automation and process control.
  • Employ systematic problem-solving tools, process enhancement techniques, and project management methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with stringent quality and risk management protocols for all modifications.
  • Assist in various corporate and local IT projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • At least six years of engineering experience in process-oriented manufacturing, utilities, or packaging systems.
  • Expertise in PLC, SCADA, MES, Oracle, and MS SQL systems.
  • Proven project management capabilities with a history of successful project delivery.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork.

Physical & Other Requirements:
  • Capability to occasionally lift equipment and/or materials weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 45 lbs. with help.
  • Ability to work in various physical positions, including climbing ladders and working in elevated or confined spaces.
  • Availability to work in environments requiring hearing protection and other safety equipment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as required in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
