Responsibilities:

Job Description:
Continuously seeking automation and control enhancements within the facility to boost productivity and elevate quality standards.
Oversee all change control documentation associated with any upgrades.
Execution of small to medium scale projects in-house related to upgrades and control modifications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding and assisting with on-the-job training of technicians.

Introduce innovative processes into production, training and supporting maintenance and production team members before and after project deployment.

The primary job function involves the maintenance and repair of all electronic components within the automation systems.
Additional duties include diagnosing, repairing, and/or replacing electrical components as necessary.
Assist in upgrading process control equipment as new technologies emerge.
Maintain an understanding of the latest state-of-the-art control systems.
Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting in robotics/automation.

Qualifications:
Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the organization, especially during process disruptions.
Must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
Must possess or promptly acquire the necessary tools for this position.

Must be experienced in the following areas:
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Servo Systems.
Variable Frequency Drives
Human Machine Interface Controls
Industrial motion controls.
Robotics

Education and/or Experience:
Technical Degree - Industrial Automation
3-5 years of experience as an automation technician
