Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will take charge of designing, executing, and sustaining process control systems to fulfill the evolving demands of clients, business objectives, and compliance obligations.

This position provides a unique chance to engage in innovative projects that improve operational productivity and quality.

Key Duties:
  • Collaborate with both local and international project teams to ensure that process designs meet all regulatory standards.
  • Formulate interface agreements and synchronize requirements with equipment suppliers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to sustain and enhance process control systems in alignment with production schedules.
  • Create and oversee budget plans for system upkeep and enhancements.
  • Uphold automation standards, specifications, and comprehensive maintenance schedules.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits and inspections related to process control systems.
  • Mentor and educate colleagues and stakeholders on automation and process control best practices.
  • Employ tools for systematic problem-solving, process enhancement, and project management.
  • Ensure that all modifications comply with stringent quality and risk management protocols.
  • Assist in various corporate and local IT initiatives and projects.

Essential Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least six years of engineering experience in process-oriented manufacturing, utilities, and/or packaging systems.
  • Expertise in PLC, SCADA, MES, Oracle, and MS SQL systems.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a proven history of successful project execution and completion.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively in a team setting.

Physical & Other Requirements:
  • Ability to occasionally lift equipment and/or materials weighing up to 35 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 45 lbs. with assistance.
  • Capability to work in various physical positions, including climbing ladders and working in elevated or confined spaces.
  • Availability to work in environments requiring the use of hearing protection and other safety gear.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as necessary in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
