This position provides a unique chance to engage in innovative projects that improve operational productivity and quality.Key Duties:
- Collaborate with both local and international project teams to ensure that process designs meet all regulatory standards.
- Formulate interface agreements and synchronize requirements with equipment suppliers.
- Develop and implement strategies to sustain and enhance process control systems in alignment with production schedules.
- Create and oversee budget plans for system upkeep and enhancements.
- Uphold automation standards, specifications, and comprehensive maintenance schedules.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits and inspections related to process control systems.
- Mentor and educate colleagues and stakeholders on automation and process control best practices.
- Employ tools for systematic problem-solving, process enhancement, and project management.
- Ensure that all modifications comply with stringent quality and risk management protocols.
- Assist in various corporate and local IT initiatives and projects.
Essential Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least six years of engineering experience in process-oriented manufacturing, utilities, and/or packaging systems.
- Expertise in PLC, SCADA, MES, Oracle, and MS SQL systems.
- Strong project management capabilities with a proven history of successful project execution and completion.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively in a team setting.
Physical & Other Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift equipment and/or materials weighing up to 35 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to lift objects up to 45 lbs. with assistance.
- Capability to work in various physical positions, including climbing ladders and working in elevated or confined spaces.
- Availability to work in environments requiring the use of hearing protection and other safety gear.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as necessary in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
