We are currently seeking a qualified Prescreen Coordinator.
In this pivotal role, the selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating medical histories to determine patient eligibility for various clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient qualifications for ongoing and upcoming clinical trials.
- Gather essential medical and psychiatric information through patient interviews and medical record reviews.
- Conduct clinical assessments, including memory evaluations and vital sign measurements.
- Support Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) in patient management and data organization.
- Gain a thorough understanding of assigned studies by reviewing protocols and participating in relevant meetings.
- Inform patients and their families about the specifics, requirements, and potential risks associated with clinical trials.
- Coordinate screening schedules and follow-up appointments.
- Document all pre-screening test outcomes, medical histories, and current medications in the database.
- Maintain accurate tracking of all data entries and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Professional and courteous phone communication skills.
- Proficient in data entry and computer usage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

- Medical knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.

Educational Background:
- A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in a clerical or customer service role, ideally within a healthcare setting, or a combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
