Essential duties include:

  • Independently setting up and operating CNC-controlled wire EDM and polishing machinery.
  • Selecting, aligning, and securing workpieces and tools for machining tasks.
  • Monitoring machine operations to identify malfunctions or deviations from specifications, making necessary adjustments.
  • Performing honing operations on piston bores and assembling hydraulic toolholders.
  • Conducting visual inspections of components to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Connecting workpieces to vacuum-fill stations and managing hydraulic reservoir filling.
  • Assembling additional components according to the Bill of Materials.
  • Conducting tests on the functionality of assembled parts and ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
  • Executing sandblasting processes as needed.
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on equipment and adapting to operational needs.
Collaboration and Communication

Teamwork is essential:

  • Engaging with supervisors regarding equipment repairs and operational issues.

Work Environment

Maintaining a clean workspace:
