Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage advocacy efforts to support issues identified by the CEO and board of directors.
  • Analyze public policy proposals and draft legislative language for Clinica Romero.
  • Develop policy-related partnerships to meet strategic goals and promote FQHCs among government officials, legislators, and community partners.
  • Serve as a liaison/point of contact with elected and appointed local, state, and national public officials.

You will also participate in state and federal health care payment and system delivery reform efforts, monitor and analyze legislation, and assure public policy incorporates healthcare equity.
