The Project Coordination Specialist will assist Project Managers in orchestrating project activities to ensure adherence to budget, timeline, documentation, and quality benchmarks.

Under the guidance of the Project Manager, the Specialist will engage in various tasks to gain comprehensive knowledge about the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess subcontractors for project execution, including identifying new partners in various regions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to formulate proposals for clients and define the scope of work for subcontracted trades.
  • Review initial requests for proposals and draft proposals for smaller-scale projects.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of change orders.
  • Manage project documentation internally and via external platforms for subcontractor access.
  • Conduct site visits with clients and subcontractors as necessary.
  • Coordinate the distribution of plans, instructions, and other documents to subcontractors for pricing and follow up on clarification requests.
  • Participate in internal meetings related to job flow, pre-construction, and project completion.
  • Research building permit fees and coordinate permit applications with relevant authorities.
  • Support the administration of ongoing projects across departments.
  • Identify and develop potential client relationships.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or associate degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in the construction sector.
  • Familiarity with Procore software.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license.
