Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the Environmental Technician will:

  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and follow all safety protocols.
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Operate both light and heavy machinery, including Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, and Excavators.
  • Participate in mandatory training to obtain necessary certifications.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately.
  • Be available for on-call duties as per the rotating schedule for emergency response.
  • Adhere to random drug testing and physical examination requirements.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to commute to job sites.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Strong safety orientation and adherence to procedures.
  • Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Check.
  • Completion of OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training and other required courses.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods and be on-call.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English, with the ability to follow instructions.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in construction or general labor.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to withstand exposure to dust, fumes, and pressurized fluids.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Must wear PPE as required.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
