The Maintenance Technician II/III is a critical role at AGC Biologics, responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our biologics manufacturing equipment. This position requires a strong background in maintenance activities, with a focus on complex manufacturing equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on bioreactors, processing pumps, valves, and other manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on complex instrumentation and systems, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures, and wearing personal protective equipment as required.
- Collaborate with equipment owners to determine maintenance schedules and procedures, and ensure compliance with cGMP regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance team members, and participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance activities, including at least 3 years in a cGMP or FDA-regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques related to manufacturing and utility systems, including autoclaves, CIP/SIP systems, and analytical equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Computer literacy in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) such as Blue Mountain or similar computer-based maintenance program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and climbing of stairs and ladders.
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 70 pounds briefly.
- Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including wet or humid conditions, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
AGC Biologics offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $44.26 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
