Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician I to join our Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) Operation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair of Complex Equipment: Perform on-site installation, modification, and repair of complex electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Customer Support and Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Travel and Site Work: Travel to various customer sites domestically and internationally as required, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Resource Management and Coordination: Manage resources, maintain schedules, and coordinate all repair activities to ensure adherence to contractual service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Technical Expertise and Problem-Solving: Utilize strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
  • Related Trade Experience or Military Training: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related trade or military training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields.
  • Computer Literacy and Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
  • Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a customer-focused environment.
  • Travel and Security Clearance: Ability to travel at short notice and pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).

  • Customer Service and Stress Management: Excellent customer service and stress management skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
