Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team at First Call Professional Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Facility Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, such as air systems, compressors, and conveyors.
  • Technical Documentation: Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings and specifications.
  • Independent Problem-Solving: Repair equipment and components without wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, or instructions when required.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan and perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical theory and principles, including specifications, codes, and the principles of operations.
  • Circuit Analysis and Repair: Analyze all types of circuitry, wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions for scheduled and emergency repairs.
  • Machinery Installation and Modification: Install, repair, and modify machinery, performing predictive/preventative maintenance, including adjusting mechanical and electrical units, electronic controls, components, and related wiring.
  • Minor Fabrication and Machining: Perform minor fabrication and machining as needed.
  • Lockout/Tagout Procedures: Ensure lockout/tag out procedures are followed.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete preventative maintenance orders on machinery.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects as given by supervisors with limited supervision.
  • Maintenance Area Management: Maintain all maintenance areas per 6S and safety standards.
Requirements
  • PLC and Automation Experience: Required experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
  • Fanuc Controls: Knowledge of Fanuc controls and systems.
  • Basic Electrical Systems: Knowledge of basic electrical systems and controls.
  • Pneumatic/Hydraulic Systems: Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Electric, Pneumatic/Hydraulic, and Mechanical Diagrams: Knowledge and understanding of electric, pneumatic/hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams.
  • Mitsubishi PLC: Knowledge of Mitsubishi PLC systems.
  • Industrial Automation: Experience with industrial automation, including three and six-axis robotics.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read blueprints, machine drawings, electrical diagrams, and schematics.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Ability to troubleshoot and repair production machinery.
  • Multi-Tasking and Prioritization: Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties while working under strict timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work well cross-functionally and communicate with internal and external parties.
