About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at First Quality Tissue SE, LLC in Anderson, SC. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in improving workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve Workforce Productivity: Anticipate and eliminate potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, and materials.
- Coordinate Maintenance Work: Plan and coordinate all maintenance work performed in the assigned area, ensuring that all necessary resources are available.
- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Teams: Maintain liaison and coordination between the production and maintenance organizations, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance work, including work orders, parts, and materials.
- Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing and implementing maintenance plans, including predictive, preventive, precision, proactive, and planned maintenance.
- Coordinate Machine Outages: Develop outage schedules in Microsoft Project and facilitate weekly outage meetings.
- Monitor and Analyze Maintenance Costs: Assist maintenance and production management in analyzing costs and recommending corrective action to reduce maintenance costs.
- Provide On-Call Coverage: Provide on-call coverage for the Maintenance Team as per the annual on-call schedule.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED: Required. Technical degree preferred.
- Maintenance Planning Experience: Minimum of three years mechanical and/or electrical maintenance planning experience, preferably in an industrial environment and in paper production.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, CMMS, precision maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic mechanics.
- Lean Manufacturing Experience: Experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.
- SAP Knowledge: SAP knowledge preferred.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills in aiding the efficiency of the operation.
- Time Management and Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
