The Facilities Operations Supervisor will act as the primary technical and maintenance authority within the multifamily property. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the operations leadership team to ensure exceptional customer service delivery. As the Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the direct management, training, and development of our maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily activities of maintenance staff, including the allocation of work orders, special projects, and effective time management.
  • Conduct inspections and provide oversight for ongoing and completed work orders.
  • Address HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance issues, and all other service requests.
  • Guide and mentor both new and existing maintenance staff members.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new maintenance team members.
  • Prepare written monthly energy management recommendations for the property.
  • Identify potential capital improvements and obtain necessary estimates and bids.
  • Assist in the preparation of maintenance expense budgets.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in maintenance or engineering within a hotel, apartment, or healthcare setting.
  • Strong customer service and computer proficiency.
  • Ability to build, mentor, and develop a cohesive team.
  • Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and HVAC systems. EPA Universal Certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a preventative maintenance program and involvement in capital projects.
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergencies as required.
