Job Overview

Position: Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant at New Level Resources, you will be an integral part of our finance team, focusing on comprehensive Accounts Payable management and ensuring precise financial transactions. Your role will be vital in nurturing vendor partnerships, facilitating month-end closures, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis. Working closely with the Controller, you will maintain internal controls, assist with special initiatives, and promote financial efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of PO and Non-PO invoices, intercompany payables, and process ACH, wire, and credit card transactions.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and execute cash outflow reporting to ensure accurate financial documentation.
  • Support the end-of-month closing process, including journal entry bookings and balance reconciliations.
  • Assist in inventory assessments, including cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Prepare analysis for expenses and POs, conduct weekly A/R reporting, and provide billing support as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to uphold compliance with internal controls and aid in the development of procedures.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects and special assignments as directed by the Controller.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong expertise in full-cycle Accounts Payable within a manufacturing context.
  • Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and compliance protocols.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of inventory accounting and analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to manage high-volume transactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation:
