We are seeking a Graphic Designer / Developer to support a U.S. federal government intelligence agency. This role requires collaboration with analysts to comprehend their needs and utilize your design expertise to articulate and visualize complex analytical insights. The ideal candidate should possess a strong interest in geographic information systems and a talent for transforming intricate data into engaging visual narratives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage technology to craft a diverse array of intelligence products, merging graphics with text, audio, and video to create interactive and multimedia high-visibility intelligence outputs.
- Generate dynamic content in line with Intelligence Community (IC) standards, including audio segments and podcasts.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with the capability to secure and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- At least eight years of graphic design experience, with a portion of that within the last two years.
- Proficient in professional graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Flash), Apple Final Cut Pro X, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with IC and DoD classification protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and synthesize diverse information sources.
- Capability to produce clear, logical, and timely graphics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of grammar.
- Aptitude for identifying nuances and resolving inconsistencies in information, alongside a solid understanding of complex analytical methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or TypeScript.
- Background in cartography and geographic information systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the intelligence production cycle, graphic design, web development, and data science technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field from an accredited institution.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $78,000 - $141,000. The pay range for this position serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Various factors are considered in extending an offer, including job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
