Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will provide high-end organizational and program support to the efforts of the advancement team on behalf of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (VMCVM). This role will work closely with the advancement team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the advancement team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a higher education or non-profit setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
