Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Direct production, packaging, and bakery operations to meet company and USDA requirements.
  • Employee Performance Management: Manage employee performance, conduct performance appraisals, and administer disciplinary action as needed.
  • Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure a safe working environment, maintain quality standards, and review Quality Assurance and HACCP documentation.
  • Cost Control and Problem-Solving: Monitor and control costs, identify and resolve production issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the USDA representative on site to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and participate in Global Manufacturing Food Safety Initiative programs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years related work experience in food industry manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 2 years in supervision.
  • Skills: Intermediate personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and SAP experience beneficial. Bilingual in Spanish and intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
