Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the Patient Access teams to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient registration processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, service, and team member/patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service for external and internal customers, ensuring timely resolution of customer service issues.
  • Process PTO requests and bi-weekly payroll for team members, providing timely feedback on performance, projects, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent application of organization policies and procedures across departments, maximizing registration accuracy.
  • Perform routine department rounds to monitor environment and support team members, communicating clear expectations and training on policy, procedure, or system changes.
  • Oversee and develop team schedules for assigned areas, ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent education/experience/credentials preferred.
  • 2-5 years prior experience in a healthcare setting, with working knowledge of EMR systems and emphasis on customer service.
  • 2-4 years of medical insurance experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in Revenue Cycle preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Excellent coaching, counseling, listening, and communication skills.
Physical Demands:

This position is classified as Sedentary Work, requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
