Job Title: Resource Management Analyst II

The Commonwealth Office of Technology (COT) is seeking a highly skilled Resource Management Analyst II to join its Financial Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and support to the Executive Cabinet Agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to track and monitor COT expenditures and receipts.
  • Work closely with vendors to obtain critical documentation for payment processing and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices for processing and advise executive management on financial risks and anomalies.
  • Master COT's chart of account elements, including activity codes, billing numbers, and accounting templates.
  • Create budget impact statements for personnel and procurement requests that affect COT's rated, fixed, and overhead services.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Works well with a team and pays close attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with financial systems and applications, including eMars, FMS, and EBI.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive management and stakeholders.
