About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Financial Consultant to become an integral part of our innovative team within the technology sector. This hybrid position allows for a blend of onsite and remote work, offering flexibility while maintaining collaboration. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in various accounting functions, particularly in compensation and benefits accounting, account reconciliations, month-end closing processes, and general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Consultant, your duties will encompass a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Preparing and recording journal entries in compliance with GAAP standards.
2. Conducting thorough account reconciliations to ensure precise reporting and ledger accuracy.
3. Assisting in the month-end closing process to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.
4. Managing and overseeing compensation and benefits accounting.
5. Reviewing general ledger entries and rectifying any discrepancies.
6. Ensuring adherence to SOX and other relevant regulations.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance and refine accounting procedures.
8. Supporting annual audits and coordinating with external auditors.
9. Aiding in the development and execution of new accounting systems and processes.
10. Participating in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Consultant role should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. CPA certification is highly desirable.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably within the technology sector.
4. Expertise in compensation and benefits accounting, account reconciliations, month-end closing, general ledger entries, and journal entries.
5. Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance.
6. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
7. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive work ethic.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with various departments and stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
10. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
