Job Overview

Position: IT Asset Management Specialist

Contract Duration: 18 Months

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Possible evening and weekend shifts)

Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of IT experience or relevant education/certifications

Compliance Requirements: Covid vaccination is mandatory. Drug testing and background checks are required.

Personal transportation is necessary, with mileage reimbursement available.

Role Description

The IT Asset Management Specialist will oversee the tracking of all IT assets, evaluating and deploying devices across various healthcare facilities in preparation for a significant software transition. This role requires 100% on-site support, assisting healthcare personnel with initial IT concerns. Candidates must possess hardware and software troubleshooting skills along with exceptional customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct device-related tasks (inventory, assessment, deployment) in a systematic manner; transition to new software.
  • Ensure all project-related tasks are executed according to client specifications.
  • Promptly escalate any issues that arise for timely resolution.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in both IT and the healthcare sector, particularly in projects related to software implementation. High-performing individuals may be considered for extended roles following the completion of this project, potentially leading to additional years of employment.

Work Environment: Hospital setting.

Additional Skills: Hardware management, inventory control, PC support, desktop assistance, IT troubleshooting, field support, ticketing systems, and deployment expertise.
