Position Title: Senior Credit Analyst

Location: Raleigh, NC

This role as a Senior Credit Analyst involves collaboration with a prominent waste management organization recognized for its diversified environmental services across North America. Core Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of comprehensive credit and collections experience
  • Experience in customer and vendor interactions
  • Proficiency in financial analysis
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Great Plains) and advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, v look-ups, sorting & filtering, subtotals, and import/export capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Evaluation: Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of potential clients by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, payment histories, and other pertinent data.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate the risk associated with extending credit to clients and provide informed recommendations based on your analysis.
  • Credit Reporting: Prepare comprehensive credit reports and present findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Underwriting: Conduct underwriting for credit requests, including new credit lines, renewals, and extensions.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with sales and operations teams to verify credit information and ensure timely and accurate task completion.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor the credit risk of existing clients and adjust credit limits as required.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and accuracy of credit analysis operations.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to verify information and conduct further research on their financial history and prospects.
