Your Role

The Valuations Risk and Control (VRC) team is a centralized analytical unit within Product Control, focusing on valuation challenges across the organization.

VRC is responsible for evaluating the Firm's trading inventories and related valuation models, as well as executing alternative valuation methods for illiquid assets. The team also oversees valuation governance policies and reporting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly calibration of pricing parameters for Independent Price Verification (IPV).
  • Development and maintenance of Pruval and valuation uncertainty methodologies.
  • Review of new products.
  • Conducting and analyzing IPV results for complex portfolios.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services, banking, or accounting.
  • A comprehensive understanding of risk impacts and key valuation drivers.
  • Knowledge of equity derivative products and their valuation methodologies is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for financial data manipulation and presentation.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, VBA, and SQL is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate issues effectively to senior management.
  • A flexible, organized, and collaborative mindset.
  • A background in control functions is beneficial.
  • A commitment to promoting an inclusive culture and valuing diverse perspectives.
