Overview:


Abile Group presents a compelling opportunity for a Technical Operations Engineer on a long-term contract, delivering User-Facing and Data Center Services to support an Intelligence Community client.

Team members will collaborate to facilitate innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of user-facing and data center information technology (IT) services across multiple networks and security domains, at various global locations, to advance the IC mission.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate the skills and qualifications outlined below and be prepared to manage all responsibilities with independence and professionalism.


Responsibilities:
Contributes to the successful completion of specific engineering programs and projects.

Develops solutions for a range of complex engineering challenges.

Conducts intricate systems design, development, and integration throughout the entire systems life cycle.

Oversees complex infrastructure, including the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

Engages in advanced systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.

Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures associated with engineering projects.

Stays updated on rapidly evolving technology.

May mentor and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.

May act as a team lead or task lead.

Qualifications:

Clearance Required:
TS/SCI with eligibility for CI polygraph.

Degree and Years of Experience:
BA/BS or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

8+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.

Required Skills:
Linux system administration expertise.

Proficiency in scripting/coding (Bash, Python, etc.).

Experience with Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Ansible.

Knowledge of Helm charts.

Automation capabilities.

Desired Skills:
Deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the others:

Operational support.

Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng).

Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Ceph storage platform.

GitLab.
