Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise a team of engineers and technicians, offering direction, mentorship, and assistance to cultivate a cooperative and high-achieving workplace.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and finalization of engineering initiatives while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including production, quality control, and supply chain, to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure smooth integration with MRP systems.
  • Establish and uphold engineering standards, protocols, and best practices to guarantee uniformity and efficiency across all projects.
  • Track and evaluate essential performance indicators related to engineering projects and initiatives, proactively addressing challenges and promoting continuous enhancement.
  • Encourage innovation and the adoption of new technologies within the engineering team, remaining informed about industry trends and advancements.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry guidelines in all engineering endeavors.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to resolve intricate engineering issues and escalated challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of progressive experience in engineering roles within an industrial manufacturing context, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
  • Demonstrated success in managing engineering projects from inception to completion, fulfilling technical specifications, budgetary limits, and deadlines.
  • Strong comprehension of MRP systems and their integration with engineering and manufacturing operations.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams toward shared objectives.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment and effectively handle multiple priorities.
