We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Renaissance Chicago O'Hare. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, while providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Operations: Process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping and security requests, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve guest complaints as needed.
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records, including room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process additional administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures as required.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Great communication and excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred.
  • Flexibility: Flexible overnight hours are required.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
