This pivotal role is integral to the CCT organization, requiring hands-on leadership.
Your primary responsibilities will include the establishment and execution of a standardized EHS program, complete with an organizational structure that supports a global framework.
As the Senior Manager of EHS, your responsibilities encompass Training, Hazard Identification, Regulatory Reporting, and the administration of the EHS program. Furthermore, you will be tasked with the ongoing enhancement of the EHS program and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory mandates.Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Operations, Human Resources, Quality, and other departments to formulate the EHS strategy for a dynamic and expanding global organization.
Assist in delivering training sessions for employees and contractors regarding relevant EHS programs and protocols.
Identify and assess hazardous conditions and practices within the workplace through process safety reviews (PSR) and job safety analysis (JSA).
Conduct EHS audits, generate reports, and work alongside cross-functional leaders to ensure the resolution of audit findings.Oversee investigations into EHS incidents, focusing on root cause analysis and corrective action measures.
Stay informed about new regulations and standards as they evolve within the industry.
Monitor, report, and communicate advancements related to EHS initiatives.
Perform risk assessments for all incoming materials, develop Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for CCT products, and manage the online SDS platform.
Coordinate all hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal programs.
Manage all regulatory reporting obligations (EPA, DEP, etc.) for CCT.
Define resource needs to support the EHS strategy.
Complete Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) surveys.
Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7-10 years of EHS experience, or an Associate degree with a minimum of 12 years of direct EHS experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in OSHA and EPA compliance within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Quality Management System standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, IATF) is essential.
Proven ability to lead and influence others effectively.
Extensive experience in EHS auditing.
Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects with minimal oversight.
Strong problem-solving skills, particularly concerning EHS issues and third-party audit findings.
Ability to multitask and collaborate with colleagues at all organizational levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, and reaching, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and lighter weights frequently.
Willingness to travel domestically (20-30%); international travel may also be necessary.
