The Opportunity

Reporting to the Center Manager, you will assume comprehensive oversight of the center's operations in their absence, encompassing production, regulatory compliance, financial management, human resources, and information technology.

The Role

  • Ensure adherence to all company standard operating procedures and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Engage in the collection and analysis of data to uphold center quality, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Center Manager to support quality compliance by fulfilling company, regulatory, and customer standards to ensure the integrity and safety of plasma, as well as the well-being of donors and staff.
  • Partner with quality assurance personnel to formulate corrective action plans addressing any deficiencies identified during audits.
  • Guarantee that the center and all personnel comply with OSHA regulations and training, maintaining all necessary OSHA documentation and reporting.
  • Oversee employee recruitment, training, counseling, and termination processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies and fair treatment of all employees.
  • Assist in promoting the center's marketing and advertising initiatives.
  • Be prepared for occasional overnight travel, up to 10% of the time.

Your Skills and Experience

Education

A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required.

Experience

A minimum of one year of supervisory or leadership experience overseeing team activities is essential.

Working Conditions

  • Expect to spend approximately 80% of your time standing or walking, with occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 25 lbs.
  • Anticipate spending around 60% of your time auditing, enhancing, and observing ongoing operations within the center.
  • Be aware that you may work with hazardous materials and be exposed to extreme temperatures and bloodborne pathogens.
  • Personal Protective Equipment will be required during specific tasks in designated areas.
