Role Summary:
We are looking for School Social Workers to deliver vital assistance to students at our K-8 campuses. This full-time role encompasses direct service interactions, collaboration with IEP teams, and effective crisis intervention for students requiring support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of students needing clinical intervention
- Work alongside IEP teams to develop and revise Individualized Educational Plans
- Engage in eligibility assessment meetings and perform social work evaluations
- Skillfully handle crises for students and provide necessary clinical services
- Collaborate with educators, conduct observations, and offer support as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsement in School Social Work
- Preferred experience in school social work; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous
- Proven ability to engage with students and families from diverse and underserved communities
