About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Wellness Specialist to join our team at TCS Education. As a Student Wellness Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success and well-being of our students. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide triage support for students who are referred to the division to ensure they receive the service(s) and intervention(s) needed.
  • Develop and coordinate the delivery of wellness outreach to students and the campus community through programming, events, presentations, and documentation of wellness information.
  • Support the Director of Student Wellness and ADA Accommodations in providing ADA Accommodations and Disability Services.
  • Conduct individualized assessment and analysis of requests for appropriate and reasonable accommodations.
  • Provide guidance and support to students with respect to federal and state disability laws.
  • Maintain student data, accommodation documentation, and related records for students with disabilities, ensuring secure storage and privileged communications practices to comply with FERPA and ADA confidentiality laws.
  • Field questions from students and their health care providers, faculty, and staff regarding the accommodations and needs of the students while helping to find reasonable solutions.
  • Provide ongoing student case management through consultation, facilitation, and communication with students, faculty, administrators, on specific academic adjustments, modifications, and/or accommodations and services.
  • Provide regular training for faculty concerning ADA Accommodations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience working with ADA Accommodations or other specialized student supports preferred.
  • Experience within student-facing positions and/or Higher Education.
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by supervisor and student need.
  • Strong problem identification/solving skills, as well as program planning/development and interpersonal skills.
