Job Overview

International Wheel & Tire is seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to lead our Automotive Powertrain sales efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of powertrain systems and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM and Tier 1 clients to achieve long-term business objectives
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements, understanding client needs and expectations
  • Research and request quotes from outsourced suppliers to complete work proposals
  • Generate costing spreadsheets and maintain records of all communication with customers and vendors
  • Work closely with Operations Manager to develop schedules and deliveries
  • Coordinate and attend trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Automotive Powertrain systems with outside sales, account management, or related field
  • Capital equipment sales to OEM and Tier 1 clients
  • Strong ability to build rapport with clients, negotiate and close deals effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, Business or related experience. Minimum of 10 years in related field.
