Job Title: Field Service Coordinator

Location/Schedule

  • On-site at our corporate offices in downtown Cincinnati. Employee parking is complimentary. Limited remote work opportunities may be available after initial training.
  • Standard hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Compensation

  • Hourly wage of $25.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the daily operations of Verdin's national field service network utilizing internal scheduling, GPS tracking, and database systems to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with technicians to provide support and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Generate reports on field service activities, applying established metrics to evaluate individual and departmental performance.
  • Review and process expense reports to accurately allocate costs to customer projects.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling travel for extended, long-distance assignments.
  • Collaborate with field service technicians to ensure timely submission of administrative tasks such as trip reports and part orders.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the service department responsible for scheduling and planning field service technicians' workloads.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and proficiency with productivity software and database systems, including Microsoft Office, Google Docs, SmartSheet, and similar cloud-based applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify significant issues and trends within large datasets.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a close-knit, collegial environment that reflects our family business culture.
