The Financial Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the fiscal administrative functions within the organization. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Administration (Approx. 50%)
    • Oversee and coordinate essential fiscal administrative tasks, including:
      • Management of payroll functions on a monthly and biweekly basis.
      • Facilitation of purchasing activities as required.
      • Supervision of accounts receivable processes.
  • Regularly assess the financial health of various programs and funds.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports in collaboration with the business office.
Operations Administration (Approx. 50%)
  • Assist in formulating unit policies and procedures, including:
    • Management of logistics for summer programs.
    • Coordination of space reservations for classes and events.
    • Oversight of public information updates, including website and event calendars.
Facilitate personnel transactions, including:
  • Preparation of annual contracts for staff and contractors.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Management of access control systems.
  • Coordination of volunteer and student helper activities.

Additional duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
Experience

At least two years of experience in finance or accounting is necessary.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with performing arts education programs is advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to create functional systems for diverse users. Proficiency in software such as Excel and Concur is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based, with no unusual physical demands.
