The Reliability Engineering division is on the lookout for a Reliability Engineer to contribute to our internal projects. This team collaborates closely with various engineering disciplines to guarantee that our products function optimally and adhere to all performance metrics, environmental standards, and client specifications. We are dedicated to developing state-of-the-art reliability methodologies and processes to ensure sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities

This multifaceted role will focus on supporting the development of advanced systems that integrate seamlessly with other products. The Reliability Engineer will spearhead efforts to enhance the reliability of our core technologies, considering diverse applications and operational scenarios.

Design & Development Support:
  • Assist Design Engineers in documenting requirements, evaluating redundancy, and ensuring design reliability compliance with industry standards.
  • Review system diagrams and schematics for accuracy and adherence to operational requirements.
  • Identify potential risks early in the design phase using methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and coordinate proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the Design Requirements Process to uphold best practices.
  • Participate in Development Milestone Reviews and facilitate the transition to production with Quality Engineering.
Predictive Reliability Analysis:
  • Conduct predictive reliability assessments to determine key metrics such as Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
  • Lead Failure Mode and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) evaluations.
  • Develop maintainability prediction models and perform Weibull analysis to generate reliability performance reports.
Validation & Qualification:
  • Draft and manage comprehensive R&D Test and Qualification plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee the Qualification & Traceability matrix alongside requirements documentation.
  • Translate test requirements from DFMEA outputs into actionable validation and qualification plans.
  • Lead root cause analysis for issues identified during testing phases.
  • Publish comprehensive reports detailing qualification outcomes.
End-to-End Support & Continuous Improvement:
  • Manage product plans from component reception to deployment, ensuring all quality checks are documented.
  • Develop and implement reliability processes to enhance design, manufacturing, and deployment operations.
  • Analyze telemetry data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Facilitate regular reviews to address key performance issues and drive corrective actions.
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of experience in Reliability Engineering or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Experience with advanced hardware systems and high-pressure environments.
  • Familiarity with aircraft and engine system reliability.
  • Proficient in predictive modeling and risk management techniques.
  • Eligible for security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience with reliability modeling and predictive analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and testing methodologies.
  • Strong technical writing skills for developing standards and specifications.
